Emerson Power Transmission (USA, a division of Emerson Industrial Automation) has acquired System Plast SpA (Italy).

System Plast designs, manufactures and sells ferrous, nonferrous and plastic components and chains for conveyors and other industrial equipment. The company has a wide variety of industrial bearings in its Bearing Line.

In 2005, System Plast USA acquired Nolu Plastics and its Solus Industrial Innovations subsidiary. Solus conveyor roller bearings are either sleeve bearings or ball bearings with nonmetallic (acetyl or polypropylene) races, and rolling elements of #316 or #420 stainless steel. The company also offers screw conveyor hangar bearings of UHMW or Nolu-S, both proprietary food-grade thermoplastics.

The company also offers a more standard line of pillow blocks and flange units, mounted or unmounted spherical bearings and inserts, in various polyamide, thermoplastic and stainless-steel bearing combinations. Housings can also be stainless steel or plated carbon steel stampings; the LifeGard line includes phenolic shields.

System Plast's Bearing Line is a widely complimentary line of ferrous, nonferrous and thermoplastic bearings and pillow block, flange unit and take-up housings. in standard 204, 205, 206, 207 and 208 sizes. The company recently introduced new versions of their CS-CSL bearing and flange unit. All are available with locking screws or eccentric locking collars, and in inch or metric (12mm-40mm) shaft sizes.

Emerson Power Transmission division is home to four bearing manufacturers: Browning, Rollway, Sealmaster, and McGill.
