Kaydon Corp. (USA; NYSE: KDN) announced it has reorganized its management structure -- shifting staff to put more resources where there are high-growth opportunities in key bearing industry markets.

In particular, Kaydon is experiencing significant international organic growth within its wind turbine bearing business.

Kaydon said the reorganization, "comes after a period of unprecedented order growth and capital investment."

John Emling is now Group President, responsible for several business units: Kaydon Custom Bearings, Sealing Products, and Filtration. Mr. Emling had been COO and Senior VP of Operations.

L. Jeffrey Manzagol is now President of Kaydon's Industrial Bearings Division, which includes the all-important custom turntable bearings going into the wind energy market. He had been President of the Bearings Division.

In addition to Industrial Bearings, Mr. Manzagol will spearhead a renewed effort to accelerate the development of Kaydon's bearing business internationally.

Both Mr. Emling and Mr. Manzagol will report to Kaydon's President, Chairman, and CEO, James O'Leary.

Mr. O'Leary said: "With the growth of Kaydon's custom turntable bearings business and our focus on international growth company-wide, this reorganization positions the Company to best utilize its leaders in maximizing our results for the full benefit of our shareholders. This structure will provide clarity and focus in a fashion that optimizes execution at every level. John and Jeff will play important roles in achieving our corporate objectives in both the short and long term by developing organizations and strategies best suited for the unique needs of each of our businesses."
