Climax Metal Products Inc. (USA; website) has named Cliff Bannon as National Sales Manager.

Climax, founded in 1947, is a key manufacturer of shaft collars and rigid couplings for PT OEM and MRO -- one-piece, two-piece, threaded or setscrew. The company also produces keyless hub locking assemblies. Climax, located in Wickliffe, Ohio, is the United States' only major ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturer of shaft collars and rigid couplings.

The company recently acquired Cleveland Sales Company (Clesco), which manufactures and distributes pillow block ball bearings, flange units, sleeve bearings, power transmission components, bushings, tools and abrasives, along with zinc and aluminum diecast pulleys.

Mr. Bannon has more than 26 years experience in power transmission and industrial products, most recently as National Sales Manager for QA1 Precision Products. Prior to that, he had been Director of Sales at Dichtomatik. Mr. Bannon serves on the PTRA Board of Directors and is heavily involved with the PTDA as a member of the Manufacturer Council.
