The other company acquired by RBC in the deal is BEMD, which produces high-precision finish machined
components for commercial aircraft, aerospace, and military aircraft applications.
Michael Hartnett, RBC's Chairman and CEO, said: "We are

fiscal 2008. The addition of AID/BEMD expands our product offering to
the worldwide airframe and defense industries. These products are
complimentary to RBC Bearings' existing offering and broaden the value

will contribute immediately to shareholder value and will be good
partners in the years ahead."
RBC reportedly paid USD $5.9 million cash and assumes certain liabilities; the
two companies have annual revenue approaching $12 million.
