SKF India Reports Third Quarter 2007 Results

SKF India Ltd. (a division of SKF AB, Sweden) reported third quarter results,
for the period ended September 30, 2007.
Sales for the quarter were Rs 3.87 billion (USD $98.6 million), up 14% over 2006.
The operating margin rose sharply, hitting 17.6% from 2006's 11.4%.
On that improvement, net profit jumped 92%, hitting Rs 431 million ($11 million)
from 2006's Rs 224 million ($5.7 million).
SKF India Managing Director, Rakesh Makhija, said: "Our business continues
to grow sharply, driven by a strong focus on our major customers and segments.
Exports continue to ramp up significantly, while we drive our costs down
in all areas of our operations."
