NSK Ltd. (Japan; TSE1: 6471) has opened a customer technical support office in Pakistan, its first direct investment in the country.

Ceremonies opening the Empress Tower office in Lahore, Punjab, were attended by Leonard Tan, GM of Asian and Oceania Aftermarket.

NSK currently has four bearing distributors in Pakistan. But Mr. Tan indicated to local media that the country's growth prospects have attracted NSK's attention and that it may see a larger presence from NSK in the near future.
