SKF Acquires Sommers Industriteknik

SKF AB (Sweden) announced it has acquired Sommers Industriteknik AB (Sweden).
The acquisition of
Sommers, a Vogel lubrication systems
distributor, extends SKF's
reach to end users of its own value-added products, and lubrication systems in particular.
SKF acquired Willy Vogel AG in July 2004.

SKF said Sommers, with annual sales of approximately SEK 16 million, brings, "40 years
of in-depth technical expertise in Vogel lubrication systems."
Sommers will become a, "lubrication competence center," for SKF sales units in the Nordic countries.
