Hoover Precision Names Eric Sturdy as President

Hoover Precision Products Inc. (USA, a division of Tsubaki Nakashima Co. Ltd., Japan)
announced it has named Eric Sturdy as President.
Joe Schmenk had been President and CEO, and will remain the company's CEO.
Before Mr. Schmenk, Carl Pfizenmaier had been the company's President and CEO, retiring
in 2003 after 40 years in the bearing industry, the last 22 of those with Hoover.
Hoover manufactures precision balls for the bearing industry, auto industry, and related applications.
The parent company and subsidiaries operate eight rolling element manufacturing facilities -- its
Hoover headquarters in Cumming, Georgia;
Erwin, Tennessee; East Granby, Connecticut; Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan; Washington, Indiana;
Puebla, Mexico; Debrecen, Hungary; Krasnik, Poland; and Jiangsu, China. Debrecen and Krasnik
also produce rollers in addition to balls.
Mr. Sturdy joined Hoover in 1990 and has been Executive VP since 2003. Currently located in
Sault Ste. Marie, he will be relocating to Hoover's headquarters in Cumming, Georgia.
