ZKL Brno (Czech Republic) reported bearing sales for 2004 increased to Czk 960 million (USD $40 million), from Czk 818 million ($34.3 million) in 2003.

NOTE: ZKL Brno is not to be confused with ZKL Klasterec spol. sro, or other companies who have laid claim to the ZKL name and/or trademark. eBearing is regularly threatened with legal and police action after mentioning ZKL, and so the information provided here makes no reference or determination as to the legal rights surrounding the ZKL name or trademarks.
ZKL Brno's President Jiri Prasil told the Czech News Agency that the company intends to expand its presence in Peru and Columbia, and is planning to open an office in Peru.

The company claims a 5% market share in Latin America, or approximately Czk 133 million ($5.3 million).

Target markets in the region are primarily in the agricultural, mining and drilling sectors, but ZKL Brno said it hopes to expand its presence in the pulp and paper mills and metals processing.

The company's plant in Brno, along with other facilities, reportedly employ a total of more than 780 people.
