Kioritz said wheel bearings and hubs on the 1,000 litre tank models could fail, resulting in a wheel coming off, and loss of control. Vehicles under recall were manufactured between March 1989 and November 2003.

The air blast sprayers are sold primarily in Asia, offer features such as four-wheel-drive, four-wheel steering, and cost upwards of ¥6.3 million (USD $62,000).
