SKF do Brasil (Brazil, a subsidiary of SKF AB, Sweden) reported sales for the first half of 2004, up more than 10% over the same period in 2003.

Through the end of 2004, SKF said it expects sales inside Brazil to climb more than 15% over 2003.

Earlier this year, the company announced aggressive plans to expand production at its plant in Cajamar, near Sao Paulo, answering strong domestic demand and in an effort to move into local export markets.
