The aims of the Exhibition, according to the organizers are threefold:
demonstrate the capabilities and accomplishments of the Russian Federation's bearing industry,
including new applications developed through cooperation with businesses outside the bearing industry
create opportunities for Russia's bearing manufacturers to build business relationships among
themselves, with foreign bearing manufacturers, and businesses from other sectors
demonstrate the manufacturing capabilities of Russian Federation bearing manufacturers,
showing their ability offer high quality, price-competitive products into the world market
The Exhibition includes a conference track, "New Technologies and Designs in the Bearing Sector",
a meeting of the Bearing Manufacturers Association of the Russian Federation, trade
seminars, and manufacturer presentations.
During the conference, twelve different seminars will focus on everything from choosing the proper
bearing lubricants, to developments in machine tool technologies and their application to bearing
manufacturing, to discussions of new techniques for grinding and heat-treating.
Promoters also hope to make the Exhibition a venue where Russia's senior bearing company executives
will meet with officials of the federal state agencies and authorities of Russia, interested banks, and
private investment companies. In that way, exhibition promoters hope to help the participants gain access
to capital and determine the best ways to modernize and expand their production facilities with an
eye toward competing more effectively in the world market.
