SNI Announces New Lineup
of Bearing Grinders

Service Network Inc. (SNI, USA) announced it has added to its lineup of grinding equipment specifically
designed for the bearing industry.
SNI's new machines, the SN200/400/800-E series, are high performance grinders for bearing
race OD's.
The E series grinder lineup compliments the company's line of ID grinders, introduced in 2001.
The SN400-I found rapid acceptance and leveraged SNI's position as a vendor to all of the world's largest bearing
manufacturers. As a result, the company said it already has firm orders
for the new SN-E series OD grinders.

The grinders use high-precision hydrostatic slides for positioning, built on a "super-stiff" machine
base and platform which maintains accuracy even in high horsepower applications.
In addition to high-precision capabilities, the new OD grinders are flexible. They can be set up as
shoe centerless machines or chuckers; races up to 190mm OD can be set up for autoloading; races up to 750mm OD
can be hand loaded.
Founded in 1984, SNI not only manufactures a wide range of single and multi-spindle grinding machines,
but also offers rebuilding,
upgrading and parts services for older Heald machines -- hundreds, if not thousands, of which are still
floating around bearing factories. SNI also offers its own custom grinding software, designed to interface
with a variety of standard control option packages.
