Rose Bearings Becomes NMB Minebea UK Ltd.
copyright © 2003 eBearing Inc.
Rose Bearings Ltd. (UK) has been renamed NMB Minebea UK Ltd.
For over a decade, Rose has been owned by Minebea Ltd., the bearing manufacturer headquartered in Japan.
However, to maintain market presence for the well-known Rose brand, Minebea kept the Rose business name
and brand both active.
The company has now decided to pursue a unifying brand strategy across all of its markets worldwide,
which means Rose Bearing will now become NMB Minebea UK Ltd.
Rose as a brand name is likely to stay in the marketplace; Minebea did not announce the Rose
brand would be changed or retired as a result of the unification effort.
Founded in the 1940's, Rose -- now NMB-Minebea UK Ltd. -- is a leading manufacturer of precision rod end,
self-aligning spherical bearings and bushings. Rose has built a strong reputation in high-end
and high-precision applications. Markets include a wide spectrum of industries, from
automotive to aerospace.
