Kinex a.s. (Slovak Republic, a joint-stock division of HTC Holding) has been recognized with several recent business awards.

The company was named, "Best Exporter of the Slovak Republic in 2001" by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and Eximbank.

After growing sales by over 44% in 2001, Kinex vaulted from 111th to be the 62nd largest manufacturing company in the Slovak Republic. The company was listed as 44th in terms of value added.

In 2000, Kinex had the largest sales gain of any non-financial company in the Slovak Republic.

Kinex manufactures double-row ball bearings, 2-130mm single row angular contact ball bearings, single row tapered roller bearings (capacity added in 2001), straight roller and needle roller bearings, and specials. Primarily, customers include automotive, truck, industrial, and aerospace companies. Other products include piston pins and measuring equipment.

Manufacturing bearings since 1965, Kinex became a joint-stock company in mid-1992. In September 2000, Kinex acquired ZVL Skalaca a.s.. In late 2001, Kinex acquired the former KLF-ZVL a.s.
