Three Bearing Industry Events
Set for August 26-30, 2002

August 27 - 30

The Third China Guangzhou International Bearing Exhibition will be taking place in the Chinese Export Commodities Fair in Guangzhou.

The organizers claim this is the largest international exhibition in China.



August 26 - 28

The Eighth Annual Symposium on Magnetic Bearings will take place in Mito, Japan. Hotel Lake View Mito will host the conference.

Other recent sites for the symposium have been Switzerland, Japan and the United States.

The Symposium on Magnetic Bearings is designed to, "foster multidisciplinary interaction between scientists and serve to inform the community of the current state-of-the-art magnetic bearing technology."

The American Bearing Manufacturers Association is sponsoring a short course at Notre Dame University: Advanced Concepts in Lubrication and Wear.
