Koyo Seiko Corp. (Osaka, Japan) division, Koyo Manufacturing Philippines Corp., recently opened a new factory in Malvar, Batangas Province in the Philippines.

The Malvar plant will produce miniature bearings for office automation, computer, information technology, small appliance and industrial automation applications.

Koyo's factory is one of a number of newly-constructed bearings plants in the Philippines, joining fluid film bearing operations from NTN-Nidec and Sankyo.
