Craft Bearing Company (Hampton, Virginia) is moving its office and factory from
Hampton to Newport News, Virginia.
But Craft will actually be staying within the same Copeland Industrial Park, which
straddles the two cities. From three smaller buildings on the Hampton side, Craft will
be moving into a 52,000 square foot building at 5000 Chestnut previously owned by
Gambro A.B. Gambro is a manufacturer of renal care and dialysis systems.
Craft reportedly paid USD $1.2 million for the Gambro building. Under Newport News
enterprise zone incentives, if the company meets job creation and investment
criteria, it will receive approximately 25% of the building's
purchase price back via tax incentives and other credits.

large conveyors and other heavy-duty uses. They are made for shafts as small
