not the new warehouse

NSK America Corporation (Schaumburg, Illinois) is opening a new 136,000 square foot warehouse distribution center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Indiana already hosts several NSK facilities, including nearby Franklin since 1993 - the NSK Ball Screw and Automotive Hub Manufacturing Plant (pictured above) which employs 280 people. The Franklin plant manufactures both ball screws for positioning purposes in semiconductor manufacturing equipment and automotive hub units, primarily for Toyota.

NSK also operates a Component Manufacturing Plant in Liberty, Indiana.

It was not clear if the new Indianapolis warehouse will replace or augment one already in operation there. The new warehouse will handle the entire NSK product line, including non-bearing items.

NSK's North American businesses have combined sales over $700 million, employing approximately 2,000 people across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
