General Bearing / Ningbo Venture
Receives Ford/Visteon Q1 Award

General Bearing (West Nyack, New York) and their joint venture with Ningbo Genda Company (Ningbo, China)
will receive Ford/Visteon's Q1 status award on October 17th.
The General Bearing/Ningbo venture is the first Chinese venture unrelated to Ford or Visteon to receive
Q1 status. Ningbo Genda is a privately-owned company in China.
NGBC was founded in 1996 and has since supplied more than 25 million bearings to Ford/Visteon, while
achieving ZPM (Zero Parts per Million) defect rate.
Ford/Visteon's Q1 is their highest supplier award, reflecting systems, production and overall supplier
performance. The Q1 program is also used to identify preferred vendors for future opportunities.
