Applied Industrial Names Purser as CEO

Applied Industrial Technologies (Cleveland, Ohio) has elected Bill L. Purser, its Chief Marketing Officer,
as President and COO, effective October 17, 2000.
Purser in the past has been President of American Bearing and Executive VP of Sales & Marketing for King Bearing.
He is replacing David Pugh, who is becoming Chairman as John Dannemiller retires that same day.
