SKF Releases Wireless
Vibration Monitoring System

SKF AB (Sweden) announced a new wireless vibration monitoring system for machinery and machine tools.
An SKF Condition Monitoring System sensor is attached to the machine. A radio signal carries the signals to a base
station attached to a desktop PC. On the PC, SKF's proprietary monitoring software analyzes the information,
detecting problems due to bearing failure, gear failure or lubrication problems.
