Applied Industrial Completes Dynavest Acquisition

Applied Industrial Technologies (Cleveland, Ohio), formerly Bearings Inc., completed
its acquisition of
various distribution businesses of Canadian distributor Dynavest Corporation.
AIT acquired facilities in five Canadian provinces, including 21 bearing and power
transmission service centers, 3 rubber fabrication centers, 15 fluid power service
centers, 1 central warehouse and 3 agricultural product distribution centers.
The trade names of the entities involved are Bearing & Transmission, HyPower
and All-Agro. The trade names will be retained, as will Canadian management,
operations and culture.
The addition of these businesses gives AIT its first physical presence outside of
the United States.
