NN Ball & Roller (Erwin, Tennessee, USA) suffered a major fire at its ball manufacturing facility in Erwin, Tennessee early this morning. The fire affected approximately 30% of the company's production area.

The early morning fire broke out while the facility was closed, so only three employees were in the plant at the time. All three were safely evacuated.

NN has implemented an emergency production plan, shifting ball production to their three other facilities in Mountain City, TN, Walterboro, SC, and Kilkenny, Ireland. NN may also outsource in order to maintain customer delivery schedules.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and as yet unknown.
