U.S. Antidumping Duty Administrative Reviews

Companies affected by dumping duties, tariffs and cash deposit
may request reviews of those requirements on the anniversary
of their implementation.
On May 15, 1989, the U.S. Commerce Department published in the
Federal Register (54 FR 20909) the antidumping duty orders on ball
bearings and parts thereof (BBs) from France, Germany, Italy, Japan,
Singapore, and the United Kingdom and on spherical plain bearings
and parts thereof (SPBs) from France. On June 19, 2001, in
accordance with 19 CFR 351.213(b), they published a notice of
initiation of administrative reviews of these
orders (66 FR 32934).
The products covered by these reviews are antifriction bearings
(other than tapered roller bearings) and parts thereof (AFBs) and
constitute the following merchandise:
Ball Bearings and Parts Thereof: These products include all AFBs
that employ balls as the rolling element. Imports of these products are
classified under the following categories: antifriction balls, ball
bearings with integral shafts, ball bearings (including radial ball
bearings) and parts thereof, and housed or mounted ball bearing units
and parts thereof.
Imports of these products are classified under the following
Harmonized Tariff Schedules (HTSUS)

The size or precision grade of a bearing does not influence whether
the bearing is covered by the order. For a listing of scope
