Schatz Bearing Corporation manufactures specialty ball bearings used in various industries with high standards for quality and performance -- including Aerospace & Defense, Machine Tool, Automation & Robotics, and Medical Equipment.

We are a growing company with a need to increase our manufacturing capabilities and customer support capabilities in order to accommodate market demand.

We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced, motivated manufacturing / applications engineer.

This position will have broad engineering responsibilities, ranging from product design and application analysis to manufacturing process improvement and trouble-shooting.

This position reports directly to the Vice President - Sales and Engineering.

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
  
  
• 5+ years work experience in the bearing industry or related
  
  
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
  
  
• Strong analytical and computer skills (MS Office)
  
  
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software
  
  
• Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO9000 standards
  
  
• Self-started with high initiative and strong interpersonal skills

Bachelor of Science - Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
