Emerson Power Transmission (EPT), a division within Emerson Electric, is a major producer of mechanical power transmission drives, components and bearings.

EPT serves a wide array of machinery-intense industries, including forestry and wood products, mining and quarrying, power generation, and heating and ventilation.

EPT Bearings Operation is one of three operations that make up Emerson Power Transmission division. Bearings Operation is responsible for the design and manufacture of various types of mounted ball and roller, cam follower, spherical and cylindrical roller bearings, marketed under the brand names Sealmaster®, McGill®, Browning®, and Rollway®.

  Position Description
We are seeking an Applications Engineering Manager.

  Position Responsibilities
 • Manage department engineers engaged in technical support of bearing product and customer applications

 • Hire and develop AE group engineering personnel

 • Provide technical training material content for EPT training activities

  Experience and Qualifications
 • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering minimum,
   MBA or advanced engineering degree desired

 • Minimum 10+ years of industrial experience

 • 3-5 years in managerial / supervisory role

 • Prior experience in the bearing industry preferred

  Education
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering minimum;
MBA or advanced engineering degree desired
