We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to assist our growing Quality Assurance Department with a variety of duties.

This position involves up to 25% domestic and international travel.

 • Work with customers, suppliers, and a variety of departments within PEER

 • Perform customer QA audits

 • Perform supplier QA audits

 • Produce Control Plans

 • Submit oral and written reports and communications

 • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering

 • Minimum 2 years quality assurance experience in manufacturing environment

 • Bearing industry experience a plus, but not required

 • Experience in PPAP, SPC, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, LPA

 • Experience in customer QA auditing, and experience in communicating with customers

 • Know and be able to follow ISO procedures, work within ISO standards

 • Display excellent oral and written communication skills

 • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%

 • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
