The Bearing Specialist will provide leadership, engineering oversight, and expert consultation on bearing related activities in support of our client's Engine and Control Systems line of aerospace fuel pumps, lube pumps, and accessory drive gearboxes.

 • Analyze and evaluate bearings in support of new applications

 • Lead in-field equipment investigations

 • Act as technical expert in design reviews with internal and external customers

 • Maintain and improve bearing-related design tools

 • 4-year Bachelor of Science Degree

 • 10+ years design and analysis of high-speed ball and roller bearings

 • Experience in bearing failure investigations

 • Experience with software for rolling element and fluid film bearing design

 • Familiarity with NX / Unigraphics or similar CAD/CAM/CAE PLM

 • Working knowledge of ANSYS or similar FEA

4-year Bachelor of Science degree
