The Rexnord Coupling Products Group has an immediate requirement for an experienced Application / Market Engineer focused towards the Compressor Industry.

Application / Market Engineer

The Market Segment Engineer provides general technical support and engineering assistance to internal associates, customers and our sales force.

Duties will include:

 • Product application information,

 • Competitive product analysis,

 • Group presentations for product training and customer demonstrations, and support of our internal product development initiatives.

This position requires 15% to 30% travel and will include day trips, overnight stays and some occasional weekends.

The Market Segment Engineer is exposed to plant environments and must have a valid driver’s license.

 • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, compressor applications in lieu of degree

 • 5+ years of position-related technical experience

 • Minimum of 3-5 years in-depth technical knowledge of the compressor market segment applications, products and industries served

 • Demonstrated success in resolving multiple customer issues concurrently

 • Knowledge of manufacturing, planning, purchasing and inventory control a plus

 • Hands-on mechanical skills required

 • Ideal candidates will possess strong presentation, communication, negotiation and influencing skills

 • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, compressor applications in lieu of degree

 • 5+ year’s technical experience within degree
