 Finding U.S. Government sales opportunities
Many eBearing.com visitors complained when we were forced to drop this feature, listing U.S. Government contract sales opportunities for all types of bearings.
Now it's a do-it-yourself feature, but here's how.
1 - Go to www.fbo.gov detail search [click here]
2 - Scroll to a box labeled Classification Code
3 - In that box, scroll down and select 31 -- Bearings
4 - Click the Search button, at the bottom of the page
That's the basics. Going back to the top of that same search page, you'll find that it is full of other menu options which can all be combined to allow a great deal of control over narrowing and refining your search.

 Bearing Industry Code of Conduct
The Bearing Industry Code of Conduct introduces a critically important approach for our industry: establish and enforce a voluntary, strict, ethical, and systematic approach to auditability, quality assurance, manufacturing and distribution. BICC seeks to tackle counterfeiting, re-badging, origin falsification, and similar behavior that weaken the industry and its standing amongst other industries.

 An Annual Report Worth Reading
We read hundreds of annual reports. But Berkshire Hathaway's stands alone in its clarity and candor. Most leave you wondering why everyone involved isn't a billionaire. Read B.H.'s and you'll understand why they aren't, and Warren E. Buffett is.

 ITC China Ball Bearings Investigation
In February 2002, the American Bearing Manufacturers Association filed a trade complaint, alleging ball bearings from China are being sold in the U.S. below fair market value. It was initially successful and preliminary rounds of duties were levied on ball bearings from China. In April 2003, however, the ITC unanimously found no damage to the U.S. bearing industry, eliminated the duties and terminated its investigation. The records of these proceedings are important because they are filled with candid and rarely disclosed market information.
